NPP Takes Over The Majority In Parliament – Alban Bagbin Officially Declares

News Information coming in has revealed that the speaker of parliament has finally declared the NPP as the majority in Ghana’s 8th parliament.

The decision of Independent Member of Parliament for Fomena, Mr. Andrew Asiamah Amoako to do business with the NPP members in the House has earned the ruling party the Majority status. Reading out a letter requesting to do business with the NPP members submitted by Mr Amoako Asiamah to him, Speaker of the House, Alban Sumana Bagbin disclosed that his wishes have been granted, and as such resulted in being the Majority side in the house.

On Hon. Kwadwo Oppong’s facebook page he stated ” The Rt Hon Speaker of the 8th Parliament has just declared the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as the Majority group in the House following receipt the letter from the independent MP for Fomena. Government business will now begin.”
