Symere Bysil Woods, popularly known as Lil Uzi Vert, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. Characterized by his face tattoos, facial piercings, eccentric hairstyles and androgynous fashion, his music is often defined by dark subject matters and imagery built on a melodic emo approach to trap.Lil Uzi’s decision to embed a diamond in the middle of his forehead could turn fatal if it isn’t removed correctly.

The rapper’s love for jewelry has never been a secret, but the rapper has made a new purchase that’s easily his most ostentatious yet: a pink diamond embedded in his forehead, which the rapper claims is worth $24 million. Check out a picture below via Uzi’s Instagram stories.

On Wednesday night (Feb. 3), the Eternal Atake emcee took to Twitter to give fans a morbid update of his gem-implanted forehead. “If I don’t get it took out the right way, I could die …..,” he captioned a selfie, which showed blood leaking from the natural pink diamond. “No seriously.”

The now-deleted tweet sparked reactions from fans who were concerned with his well-being. “Bro, if this is not safe,” one user wrote. “You better take it off. I don’t want to see you dead.”

Other users noted he should be fine as long as the gem is safely removed.

In an effort to show his fans he was okay, Uzi shared a video of his face, but this time, the bloody face was cleaned up. “Ok we good,” he captioned the post. “I’m literally tryna turn into a diamond.”
