Despite reports of a marital crisis rocking his palace in recent months, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, the Alaafin of Oyo, has married a new wife.
Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III is the Alaafin, or traditional ruler, of the Yoruba town of Oyo and rightful heir to the throne of its historic empire.
Last weekend, the monarch and his 13th wife were seen at the installation of Chief Tomori Williams as the Aare Onikoyi of Yorubaland.
Their relationship became public after Wasiu Ayinde, a popular Fuji musician, praised the monarch and mentioned Olori Chioma Adeyemi.

Last year, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi married the new Queen, according to City People. She will be the first young eastern Queen married to Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, despite the fact that she has yet to begin a nine-month course.
