Taking to Instagram on Monday evening, the Irish presenter, 42, revealed she has given birth to baby son Freddie – father of four Frank’s first boy. Christine Lampard has confirmed the birth of her second child with husband Frank.
Frank James Lampard OBE is an English professional football manager and former player who was most recently the head coach of Premier League club Chelsea. As a player, he is widely considered to be one of Chelsea’s greatest ever players, and one of the greatest midfielders of his generation.
The Loose Women host Christine Lampard took to her Instagram Page on Monday evening to reveal the name of her newly born son as Frederick George Lampard, after her dad.
The 42-year-old typed alongside a sweet capture of the new addition:
“Let us introduce you to our newest addition. ..Frederick (Freddie) George Lampard! We are completely in love.”
Christine can be seen holding her bundle of joy in her arms in the beautiful photo that was taken at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.
Prior to giving birth, the star had told how her due date was in April – meaning the baby has come a little bit early. Remember, back in January Christine had revealed she was pregnant with her second child.
At the time she shared a picture of herself cradling her bump and said: “A new year and a new baby on the way for the Lampards! It’s been a strange and worrying time to be pregnant but we’re hoping and praying that cuddles from family and friends are not too far off. Sending all my love to everyone going through pregnancy during this crazy time.”
Christine, who regularly appears on Loose Women and covers for Lorraine Kelly on daytime TV, already has daughter Patricia Charlotte Lampard with former Chelsea player and manager Frank, who was born in September 2018.
She is also step-mum to Frank’s other two children Luna and Isla from a previous relationship.
Christine said on Loose Women she had found her second pregnancy in lockdown “isolating” compared to first time around as her family could not spend more time with her.
