Television host, Afia Schwarzenegger, has lashed out at Ghanaians who supported her act after they chastised her for posting the obscene pictures on Instagram last year.
This was after the actress, born Rosemond Brown, pleaded guilty to the charge of publishing obscene material.
Afia Schwarzenegger launched a scathing attack on a section of Ghanaians who have rallied their support behind Akuapem Poloo, saying: “This is why God is punishing us. We will continue to sleep in darkness for long.”
“I remember when you lots came to social media to chastise her for posting the pictures, calling for her arrest and arguing that she has brought shame on women in the country. Saying the laws of this land should deal with her,” she said when reminiscing the early days when Akuapem Poloo first shared the photos.“Now she has been arrested and you these same people are insulting an honourable judge for doing her job. That’s why you’re all suffering. You don’t like truth and God will deal with you all.”
